Toolkit

Based on the feeback recieved from the stakeholder for each of the individual features, a research was conducted to decide the possible toolkit which will be used to build the final solution. Another important aspect that was taken into consideration is that all the tools selected are Free and Open Source Softwares.

We have also hosted demo versions of some of these tools for the stakeholders to experience.

FeatureDescriptionTools

Tools to enable using the data behind existing visualisations on a platform and building custom visualisations and dashboards to use in their local context.

A mechanism to collect and store data related to additional information required around child, school, community and more.

Capability to use existing data and visualisations, and stitch a naarative around the same which can be published on the platform.

Ability to collaborate with other stakholders on the platform, share your findings and enable others to build their knowledge.

Ability to compare areas, schools, authorities on availability of resources (financing, facilities, etc.) and outcomes of the education system (attainment. etc.)

An identity provider is a tool used to enable login and access to all the systems within the platform. It can alse be used as authorization tool to manage access to relevant tool/data accross the system.

The entire research process and its outcomes to identify the toolkit can be found here.

Way Forward

Using the requirements set for the features by the key stakeholders and the tools seclected to achieve the same, a platform architecture was devised for the new proposed solution.
